The Aquila hangs cognac or grey glass shades from a blackened metal frame, in a six or eight light arrangement.
Cognac glass warms the output substantially and reads amber when lit; grey mutes it toward a cooler, smokier cast. Both are tinted through the body rather than surface-coated, so the colour holds at the rim as well as the centre.
E14 fittings keep each shade compact, which is what allows eight of them to cluster without the fixture becoming heavy.
